Tracking Activities, Measuring Performance and Outcomes, and Preparing for HUD Monitoring Visits and Audits

HUD expects all ROSS grantees to develop an effective, quantifiable, outcome-oriented plan to measure individual and programmatic performance against goals and objectives. In this module, we discuss:

• Ways that Service Coordinators can assess individual participants’ progress toward economic independence and housing self-sufficiency, including potentially valuable data points;
• Overall programmatic outcomes and how ROSS Service Coordinators can effectively track their program’s progress to demonstrate impact over time; and
• Guidance on preparing for HUD monitoring visits and an audit.
