- Urban Promise Zones Data and Evaluation Framework
The Promise Zone (PZ) Desk Guide is designed to walk users through the process of developing and using a PZ Data and Evaluation Framework. The Guide may be used as a stand-alone document, but may also be supplemented by reviewing materials from a series of four PZ training sessions below.
Upon reviewing the information and completing the activities outlined in the Guide, users will be able to:
HUD hosted four sessions to support the 14 urban Promise Zones (PZs) in developing data and evaluation frameworks that track and evaluate progress toward achieving their goals, thus improving programmatic effectiveness.
The sessions were held in May and June of 2018. The recording and supporting materials for each session are listed below.

Office Hours were available to the 14 participating PZs to supplement the webinar after each session. The purpose of the Office Hours was to provide individualized one-on-one assistance to the PZs to help with homework assignments and support the completion of a Data and Evaluation Framework.
Peer convenings provided an opportunity for the 14 PZs to learn about each other in an informal setting, exchange information, and ask questions of evaluation experts.
The meetings were held after each webinar session.
