Subpart H: Project-Based Assistance for Multifamily over $5,000/unit/year
This module provides guidance for program administrators, property owners, property managers, maintenance staff, contractors, and compliance staff, and includes handouts that must be provided to tenants. Program administrators are encouraged to make sure the right tools are provided to each of these participants and that they keep proper records.
Subpart H covers residential properties receiving project-based assistance under a HUD program that reduces rents paid by tenants. The requirements of this subpart apply only to the assisted dwelling units in a covered property and any common areas servicing those dwelling units. This portion of Subpart H applies to:
- A multifamily residential property that is receiving an average of more than $5,000 per assisted dwelling unit annually in PBA.
If the units are single family or receive assistance up to $5,000/year, visit Subpart H: PBA Single-Family and Multifamily Units up to $5,000/unit/year.
