Base Realignment and Closure Program
The Base Realignment and Closure Program (BRAC) is a community based process that balances the need for economic and other redevelopment while addressing the needs of people experiencing homelessness at base closure and realignment sites. Under this program, HUD reviews base redevelopment plans and offers technical assistance to the communities in the vicinity of the military installation.
