The training is intended for HUD program participants (grantees and public housing agencies) that are required to prepare and submit an Assessment of Fair Housing (AFH) to HUD under the Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) final rule. Attendees may prepare an AFH on their own or collaborate with other program participants to prepare a joint or regional AFH submission. Program participants may choose which training they attend and which staff should attend (maximum of two staff per program participant). Please be advised that consultants and/or contractors should not be sent to this training in lieu of staff from the program participant that is responsible for submitting an AFH to HUD.
