The table below provides definitions for each of the fields used in the ACS Low and Moderate Income Summary Data.

CDBGUOGID

The CDBG Unit of Government Identification Code. This is a HUD assigned identifier to each grantee. The first two characters of the CDBGUOGID is the Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) numeric state code; the last 4 characters of the CDBGUOGID is the HUD Place Code.

CDBGNAME

The name of the CDBG formula program jurisdiction that covers this area

CDBGTYPE

Metropolitan Cities are "51" (principal city) and "52" (non-principal city). Urban Counties are "61".

STUSAB

The state abbreviation.

GEOID

This is the concatenation of State, County, Tract, and Block Group FIPS codes.

GEONAME

The name of the block group, place, county, or county subdivision.

STATE

The numeric Federal Information Process Standards (FIPS) state code.

COUNTY

The numeric Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) county code.

COUNTYNAME

The Name of the County.

COUSUB

The numeric Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) county subdivision code.

PLACE

The Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) numeric city/place code.

TRACT

The numeric code for the census tract. In other publications or reports, the code sometimes appears as a 2 digit decimal XXXX.XX.

BLKGRP

The block group code.

LOW

The count of Low income persons.

LOWMOD

The count of Low and Moderate income persons.

LMMI

The count of Low, Moderate, and Medium income persons.

LOWMODUNIV

Persons with the potential for being deemed Low, Moderate and Medium income. Use as the denominator for LOW, LOWMOD, and LMMI %'s.

LOWMOD_PCT

The percentage of Low and Moderate income persons.

UCLOW The uncapped count of Low income persons.
UCLOWMOD The uncapped count of Low and Moderate income persons.

UCLOWMOD_P

The percentage of uncapped Low and Moderate income persons.
