Stellavising LSA Datasets for CoCs
Almost two years ago HUD’s Office of Special Needs Assistance Programs (SNAPS) launched a new data visualization tool, Stella Performance (Stella P), to provide Continuums of Care (CoCs) insights about:
- How their system is performing
- Strategies to help them focus improvement efforts
Stella P visualizes a CoC’s Longitudinal Systems Analysis (LSA) data to illustrate how households move through the homeless system and to highlight outcome disparities.
We are pleased to announce that the Stellavise function, which allows CoCs to prepare their LSA datasets for view in Stella P, has been restored. HDX 2.0 users are now able to process LSA files, including local use and official LSA datasets, into Stella P for all available reporting years. Users must have “write” access to the LSA module for the CoC in order to Stellavise the LSA and “read” access to view Stella P. See Preparing LSA Files for Stella P for detailed instructions.
This year, to increase ease of use, the official HUD Review File LSA datasets for 2019 and 2020 will be automatically Stellavised by HDX 2.0 staff and available to HDX 2.0 users the week of March 8, 2021.
