The HUD Environmental Officers of Region X are conducting a free, one & half day environmental review training.

The training will be conducted in-person at the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) building located at:

Tuesday, August 28, 2018         9:00 AM – 3:30 PM MDT
Wednesday, August 29, 2018    8:30 AM – 12:00 PM MDT

Course Description and Objectives

Course agendas will be sent to class registrants. This training will address the more complex topics including:

  • National Environmental Policy Act
  • Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act
  • endangered species process
  • wetlands
  • floodplain management
  • noise abatement
  • toxic and hazardous substances
  • Procedural requirements of 24 CFR Part 58, including recommended formats for compliance documentation

Who Should Attend?

This training is specifically for Responsible Entities (cities, counties, the state and tribes), Housing Authorities and consultants undertaking HUD projects in Idaho State. Please note: Other participants will not be admitted into the class.
