Preventing and Addressing Discriminatory Harassment in Housing Webinar

This training, by Public and Indian Housing (PIH) and Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity (FHEO), provides an overview of sexual harassment and other discriminatory harassment that Public Housing Authority (PHA) executive staff and commissioners must work to prevent and address when it does occur. Specific best practices for PHAs are illustrated through the use of scenarios involving PHA residents and staff.

Training Objectives

This training teaches PHA executive staff and commissioners to:

  • Explain how sexual harassment violates the Fair Housing Act
  • Understand their responsibilities
  • Analyze hypothetical scenarios to identify appropriate and inadequate responses to harassment
  • Identify steps to prevent sexual harassment and help victims

Who Should Attend?
