2018 NSP Workshop Series
HUD is pleased to announce the 2018 Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) workshop series!
Take advantage of this rare opportunity for face-to-face technical assistance (TA) with the top experts in Disaster Recovery Grant Reporting (DRGR) and NSP! HUD is offering a combination of lecture, hands-on exercises, and TA in these sessions that are valuable for every NSP program practitioner. Bring your most challenging issues and questions, and get help moving to closeout through one-on-one troubleshooting.
Workshop Structure & Objectives
Each three-day workshop is structured the same and covers the same material.
The three-day workshop is divided into two sessions. Participants can register for one or both sessions. To participate in the full three-day workshop, grantees will need to register for both sessions.
Session I
Session I is two full days and includes a hands-on DRGR training for beginner DRGR users and a joint session on closeout preparation with Session II attendees.
Session I of this workshop teaches NSP grantees to:
- Understand and use DRGR functions in all modules
- Work in a hands-on environment to apply the class lessons to case study exercises
- Access DRGR reports to reconcile data for closeout
- Gain knowledge on all aspects of NSP closeout including preparation, process, and program income transfers
Session II
Session II is geared toward more advanced NSP grantee staff. This session is a day and a half beginning on the afternoon of day two with a joint session on closeout preparation with Session I attendees. Session II concludes the workshop on day three with more advanced training and TA in a clinic-style environment where grantees can engage with TA providers to address specific NSP concerns and attend small group learning opportunities
