HUD Announces Monthly HMIS Software Provider Forum

FIRST CALL TO BE HELD ON SEPTEMBER 6, 2012 - 1:00 P.M. ET
HUD encourages all HMIS software providers to become involved in the Forum and attend the monthly call to provide insight and for an opportunity to discuss HMIS with HUD staff and national HMIS TA staff.
Virtual meetings will be held the first Thursday of each month from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. ET. The meetings will be facilitated by national HMIS TA providers and will be attended by HUD staff. The meeting agenda will typically include:
- Heads-Up – Information from HUD about expectations, documents, reports, etc.
- Technical information presentation
- Q&A – This portion of the meeting will be an open forum; participants will have an opportunity to identify future areas of interest, provide feedback to HUD on the utility of tools and future priorities from the software provider perspective.
Note: All information shared during the HMIS Software Provider Forum will be made available to the public via the HRE. The calls with be technical in nature and will only be open to HMIS software providers. This will enable efficient distribution of information and provide a forum for software providers to discuss programming and other technical issues with HUD. The Department will continue to keep grantees informed of reporting requirements through OneCPD listserv messages, webinars, and other guidance documents that will be posted on the HRE. CoCs interested in joining a regularly scheduled monthly call should submit a request to the HRE Help Desk and will be directed to the nearest HUD supported regional HMIS group.
