Register Today: HOTMA Income and Assets Training Series
This series covers changes for public housing agencies (PHAs) because of HUD’s final rule implementing sections 102, 103, and 104 of the Housing Opportunity Through Modernization Act of 2016 (HOTMA).
This training series will include three sessions. The first session will discuss Section 103 which implements the new statutory requirements for PHAs regarding over-income families in public housing. The second and third trainings will discuss the changes made to PHA income reviews and asset limitations.
Training Objectives
Participants will understand:
- The new requirements for PHAs regarding over-income families, income reviews, and asset limitations
- The notification requirements to over-income families
- How to implement the new requirements from HOTMA
Who Should Attend?
The first session of the series is intended for PHAs with a public housing program. The second and third sessions of the series are intended for both PHAs with a public housing program and a Housing Choice Voucher program.
