Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) grantees and project sponsors are invited to register for the upcoming webinar on September 17, 2021 from 12:00–1:30 PM EDT. This webinar will address available HOPWA regulatory waivers to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and will help to facilitate providing assistance to eligible households economically impacted by COVID-19.


Training Objectives

Participants will learn about:

  • Available HOPWA regulatory waivers and their expiration dates
  • Recommended procedures for ensuring preparedness for waiver expiration while maintaining safety protocols and providing stability for clients
  • HOPWA program flexibilities provided by HUD in response to the COVID-19 pandemic

This webinar will also feature a Q&A session with HOPWA Technical Assistance (TA) providers as well as leaders from HUD's Office of HIV/AIDS Housing.
