New HEROS Hours of Operation

The Office of Environment and Energy (OEE) received a few questions regarding the HUD Environmental Review Online System's (HEROS) current operational hours between 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Saturday and if the hours could be extended to earlier or later times. In response, the new HEROS operational hours are between 7:00 AM to 11:59 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Saturday.

As a reminder, please use either Microsoft Edge, or Google Chrome when using HEROS. You can also submit a question to the HUD Exchange Ask A Question (AAQ) portal if you are experiencing issues with HEROS. In Step 2 of the question submission process, select “HEROS: HUD Environmental Review Online System” from the “My question is related to” drop down list.
