Health Care Reform Open Enrollment: What HIV/AIDS and Housing Providers Need to Know

September 11, 2013 Print ShareThis

Health care reform enrollment begins October 1, 2013. New programs offer HIV/AIDS housing residents and formerly homeless residents unprecedented opportunities to address their health care needs.

On Wednesday, September 18 (12:30 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. ET), a webinar will introduce several topics of interest to HIV/AIDS housing providers and homeless housing providers: new health care reform programs, information on opportunities to improve access to health services for clients, an overview of Ryan White Program payer of last resort requirements, and a review of resources for enrollment. It also presents a series of concrete action steps that will help your organization get ready for health care reform.

This webinar is co-sponsored by the Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation of Harvard Law School, HIVHealthReform.org and the National AIDS Housing Coalition with assistance from Collaborative Solutions, Inc. It is the first in a series targeting HIV/AIDS Housing Providers.

Future webinars will focus on specific opportunities for housing providers to partner with health care providers, reimbursement for housing supportive services, and other topics. Stay tuned for dates and topics.
