Materials Posted: Office Hours for FY 2022 LSA Submission
The deadline for uploading data and responding to warning notes is January 11, 2023, at 11:59 PM PST. At that point, all datasets will be considered final and your Data Quality Review Team will conduct a final review of warning notes in the following week. In certain cases, the review team may reach out for clarification, but Continuums of Care (CoCs) should expect this to be the final opportunity to provide detail on remaining warning notes. Once your review team has finished their final review, they will mark your dataset “Complete” and the CoC primary will receive an email confirmation of this change in status.
If you have technical questions regarding the Homelessness Data Exchange, Version 2.0 (HDX 2.0) or you have not yet heard from your liaison, please submit a question to the HUD Exchange Ask A Question (AAQ) portal.

FY 2022 LSA Submission Schedule
As of November 1, 2022, communities can submit their LSA data via the HDX 2.0. Outreach from the Data Quality Liaisons is also open.
CoCs should have logged into the HDX 2.0 and completed at least one LSA upload for the FY 2022 reporting year by the Initial Upload deadline on November 18, 2022. CoCs who are still receiving critical upload errors should continue working with their vendor to resolve formatting or programming issues with the file export. CoCs who have had a successful upload should start reviewing data errors and warnings. CoCs are strongly encouraged to reach out to their Data Quality Liaison via their regional inbox (e.g., AHAR_Region1@abtassoc.com) with any questions or concerns.
Dates | Description |
---|---|
November 28, 2022 – January 11, 2023 | CoCs work with Data Quality Liaisons to review and address data quality issues. When CoCs are ready for their Data Quality Liaisons to review their warning flag notes, they can “Submit for Review.” CoCs should continue to upload Official HUD Review Files throughout this phase until uploads have as few errors and warnings as possible. By the end of the phase, all remaining warnings should be addressed with comprehensive notes. |
January 11, 2023 | Final deadline to resolve data quality flags with your assigned Data Quality Liaison and submit your data for final review. |
