December 08, 2022 Print ShareThis

The Data Quality Team is sponsoring Office Hours for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 Data Cleaning period for the Longitudinal Systems Analysis (LSA). These hour-long sessions will provide LSA-focused information on specific topics and provide Continuums of Care (CoCs) the opportunity to ask questions after having hands-on experience with the LSA.

The session on December 13, 2022, from 2:00 – 3:00 PM EST will cover common questions and topics that have come up via the regional inboxes and the LSA Office Hours registration forms, including ones regarding the upcoming office hours. You are also welcome to submit questions to our LSA Data Quality experts via the Q&A during the Office Hours.

FY 2022 LSA Submission Schedule

As of November 1, 2022, communities can submit their LSA data via the Homelessness Data Exchange, Version 2.0 (HDX 2.0). Outreach from the Data Quality Liaisons is also open.

CoCs should have logged into the HDX 2.0 and completed at least one LSA upload for the FY 2022 reporting year by the Initial Upload deadline on November 18, 2022. CoCs who are still receiving critical upload errors should continue working with their vendor to resolve formatting or programming issues with the file export. CoCs who have had a successful upload should start reviewing data errors and warnings. CoCs are strongly encouraged to reach out to their Data Quality Liaison via their regional inbox (e.g., AHAR_Region1@abtassoc.com) with any questions or concerns.

Dates Description
November 28, 2022 – January 11, 2023 CoCs work with Data Quality Liaisons to review and address data quality issues. When CoCs are ready for their Data Quality Liaisons to review their warning flag notes, they can “Submit for Review.”

CoCs should continue to upload Official HUD Review Files throughout this phase until uploads have as few errors and warnings as possible. By the end of the phase, all remaining warnings should be addressed with comprehensive notes.
December 26, 2022 – January 2, 2023 Winter Holiday Break Period. During this time, Data Quality Liaisons will not be available for support. CoCs will be able to continue uploading and cleaning their data.
January 11, 2023 Final deadline to resolve data quality flags with your assigned Data Quality Liaison and submit your data for final review.
