On January 15, 2020, HUD presented a webinar regarding the FY 2019 Section 811 Supportive Housing for Persons with Disabilities (Capital Advance) NOFA. This NOFA aims to increase the supply of integrated affordable housing by providing Capital Advance funding for the development of permanent supportive rental housing for very-low-income persons age 18 to 61. In addition to support for construction, Capital Advance awards provide operating subsidies in the form of a Project Rental Assistance Contract (PRAC) to maintain ongoing affordability over the next forty years.

Note: The Section 811 Capital Advance NOFA deadline was extended by 30 days to March 10, 2020 to allow for further marketing of the program and additional time for applicants to prepare complex proposals.
