The HUD Office of Housing Counseling cordially invites housing counselors to Building Tomorrow Together, a comprehensive half-day conference exploring the future of the HUD Housing Counseling Program.

This event will feature a keynote speech from HUD Secretary Ben Carson, remarks from Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Office of Housing Counseling Sarah Gerecke, and discussions with industry leaders and stakeholders about the following topics:

  • Maximizing the value of housing counseling for all stakeholders
  • Adapting housing counseling services to meet the evolving needs of emerging consumers
  • How technology and sustainable funding change the future of housing counseling

Panel discussions will showcase industry leaders in housing, including:

  • Dr. Chris Herbert, Managing Director of Joint Center of Housing Studies of Harvard University
  • Dr. Laurie Goodman, Vice President of Housing Finance Policy at Urban Institute
