Ask Your HOPWA Questions Using Ask A Question

December 07, 2012 Print ShareThis

Dear Colleagues:

On November 15, 2012, HUD launched the HOPWA Ask A Question (AAQ). This tool enables HOPWA grantees, project sponsors, and stakeholders to ask program and policy questions via an online process and to receive timely responses to their questions by HOPWA Technical Assistance Providers via email. Please assist us in using this new protocol for asking HOPWA program and policy-related questions by using this online Ask A Question tool -- instead of contacting HOPWA TA Providers directly.

Over the next few months, all CPD virtual help desks and question systems will be consolidated into OneCPD Ask A Question. This centralized system will allow HUD’s grantees to ask questions on any CPD program or topic in one place. It will also allow HUD to efficiently provide more timely and consistent answers to questions and help all of the CPD team to learn more about common grantee challenges and knowledge gaps across these programs.

To ask a question, please use the following instructions:

  • Go to the Ask A Question page
  • On the bottom of the page, underneath “Are You an Organization with HUD Policy, Program, or Reporting System Questions,” click on “Ask Your Question”
  • Fill out the Requestor Information form (note that the AAQ Requestor Information form is available directly at the following URL: https://www.onecpd.info/program-support/my-question/)
  • Once the question is successfully submitted, you will receive an email confirmation

Thank you for your continued work on behalf of persons living with HIV/AIDS in your community.

David Vos
Director
Office of HIV/AIDS Housing

PS: I recognize that many enjoy working directly with Mariah, Crystal, Elizabeth, and others in the HOPWA TA team, as well as sending HOPWA@hud.gov questions – however, please help us with this modernization of our tools that will support the full CPD team on technical assistance – as well as these champions of HOPWA support. Best regards, DV.
