The anytime, anywhere professional education program designed especially for CHDO Executives
HUD's Office of Affordable Housing Programs is pleased to announce a new certificate program in CHDO Planning and Management. Using an online education curriculum, the certificate program is structured around a core body of knowledge in nonprofit management and federal CHDO requirements. Three courses spanning a total of 15 weeks will cover a wide range of management and affordable housing topics, focusing on strategic planning, operations management and financial management.
Is the Certificate in CHDO Management Program right for you?
The program is designed for experienced CHDO executives who want to:
- Increase their effectiveness by refining their skills and increasing their knowledge of the federal HOME Program regulations
- Collaborate with an experienced instructor and peers while learning at their convenience
- Receive a Certificate in CHDO Planning and Management issued by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development
- Benefit from high quality training at NO COST to their organization
With the local support (including letters from your Participating Jurisdiction and CHDO Board) and HUD Field Office endorsement, CHDO executives nationwide may apply. Applications will be taken beginning on July 1, 2012. The application deadline is July 31, 2012. Space is limited and admission is competitive! So be sure to apply by July 31!
