What do I need to know about assistance required under the URA?

Assistance required under the Uniform Relocation Assistance and Real Property Acquisition Policies Act of 1970 (URA), as described in Subpart E of the ESG Program Interim Rule, is also an eligible activity under the Emergency Shelter program component. Costs of providing URA assistance under § 576.408 can include relocation payments and other assistance to persons displaced by a project assisted with ESG funds.
