What recordkeeping and reporting does HUD require for acquisition, rehabilitation, and new construction projects? (§ 578.103(c)(2))

The 15-year requirement discussed above extends to both recordkeeping and reporting for projects using acquisition, rehabilitation, or new construction funds.

  • Projects must retain records for 15 years from the date the project is first occupied or used by project participants
  • Projects must submit an Annual Performance Report (APR) for 15 years from the date of initial service provision (§ 578.103(e))
