Can an employee of an NSP grantee who acts as a "buying agent" receive a commission on NSP property purchases?

No, an employee of an NSP grantee cannot receive commission or any other type of fee related to the sale of an NSP property because it presents a conflict of interest. However, NSP program funds may be used to pay the cost of the employee's salary and any direct expenses.
