Will HUD penalize my organization for asking to have my APR be amended back to me?

HUD recognizes that corrections sometimes need to be made to CoC APRs. Therefore, the submission of amended CoC APRs does not negatively impact a grant, provided that it is submitted within 90 days of the grant’s operating year end date. Late APRs may result in a freeze of your drawdowns from LOCCS. Additionally, if your APR was submitted as a Transitional APR (TAPR), HUD will no longer allow amendments because that Funding Opportunity has now been closed. Thus, while a grantee may not necessarily be penalized for an amendment HUD will not allow an amendment to a TAPR and may not allow amendments if an APR was submitted a long time ago.
