We have a client in our emergency shelter who has been enrolled in a rapid re-housing (RRH) project for several months while the RRH project is helping him look for housing. Once he’s ready to move into that housing, which destination do we choose?

Projects should select "Rental by client, with other ongoing housing subsidy" as the destination when a client is exiting to a rental housing unit supported with a short- or medium-term subsidy provided by an RRH project. Although this is not the perfect response, HUD has determined that this response category is the most appropriate option at this time. The response category "Rental by client, with other ongoing housing subsidy" should also be used for situations in which a client has other ongoing subsidies in place, such as a Housing Choice Voucher.
