When must Collaborative Applicants submit a Rental Assistance Worksheet?

Collaborative Applicants must complete a Rental Assistance Worksheet for the following types of projects:

  1. 10-year Shelter Plus Care (S+C) projects that are submitting a renewal project for the first time in the FY 2018 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program Competition.
  2. CoC Program renewal projects that:
    1. are changing their rental assistance requests from amounts based on Fair Market Rent (FMR) to actual rents; or
    2. were originally awarded rental assistance funds for multiple years and will be submitting its first 1-year renewal rental assistance project in the FY 2017 CoC Program Competition.

The Rental Assistance Worksheet must accompany the GIW Change Form when it is sent to the local HUD field office representative for review. Renewal projects not changing from FMR to actual rents are not required to complete the Rental Assistance Worksheet.
