YHDP FAQ
Q

How should the Crisis Response System chart referenced in Section V.A.1 under Current Resource Capacity criteria #1 and Stakeholder chart referenced in Section V.A.1 under Collaboration criteria #2 be included in an applicant’s response to the YHDP NOFA? Will they be included in the 30-page limit?

A

The Crisis Response System chart and the Stakeholder chart have to follow the same formatting requirement listed in Section IV.B.2 of the Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) NOFA. The two charts can be submitted one of two ways:

  • Within the narrative. If the charts are included in the narrative response to the YHDP NOFA, they will be included in the 30-page limit. HUD will not review the application after the 30-page limit.

  • As attachments. Applicants may include each chart as a separate attachment and these will not be included in the 30-page limit. Each attachment should be clearly labeled “Crisis Response System” or “Stakeholders”. In order for HUD to be able to review the charts as attachments, in the narrative, applicants must refer to the attachments in response to the criteria in Section V.A.1 under Current Resource Capacity criteria #1 and Collaboration criteria #2.
