What is the Assessment of Fair Housing (AFH) User Interface (UI)?

The Assessment of Fair Housing User Interface (or “User Interface”) is a secure system in a web-based portal through which program participants will submit their Assessment of Fair Housing to HUD. The UI will assist program participants in completing each step of the AFH and will assist program participants in locating appropriate instructions and the HUD-provided maps and tables to be used for each question. In this way, the User Interface will integrate the Assessment Tool and the Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) Data and Mapping Tool to allow interoperability between the two by pulling in the relevant maps and tables for each question. However, please note that the UI pulls in static maps and tables and the actual AFFH Data and Mapping Tool has additional functionalities not present in the maps and tables pulled into the UI.
