In order to add or edit information for a Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO), or any Subordinate Organization in the Integrated Disbursement and Information System (IDIS), the user must have the rights to "Add Subordinate" and/or "Edit Subordinate." Please review the PR30 Security Administrator User Profile List report to determine if you have the "Add Subordinate" and/or "Edit Subordinate" user privileges. If you do not currently have these privileges, please work with your local grantee administrator to add these privileges to your User ID in order to add or edit a Subordinate organization to be CHDO eligible.

To ADD CHDO:

When adding an organization that is a CHDO, take the following steps:

  • Click on the Grantee/PJ tab at the top of any screen to display the View Grantee page.
  • On the navigation bar at the left, click the Subordinate "Add" link to display the Add Subordinate screen.
  • On the Add Subordinate screen, complete the fields and click "Save." Be sure that the button "CHDO Eligible" is marked "Yes," so that the CHDO funds can be properly subgranted to it.

To EDIT CHDO:

When editing an organization that is a CHDO, take the following steps:

  • Click on the Grantee/PJ tab at the top of any screen to display the View Grantee page.
  • On the navigation bar at the left, click the Subordinate "Search" link to display the Subordinate search screen.
  • On the search screen, search for the organization, and when found, select it and then click "Edit." Be sure that the button "CHDO Eligible" is marked "Yes," so that the CHDO funds can be properly subgranted to it.
