Actions available for the QPR and Action Plan are dependent on the status of each document, as shown in the graphic below.

View the actions available for the QPR and Action Plan based on document status.

In addition, the following rules apply to the QPR:

  • A QPR in a status of "Submitted" cannot be modified:
If a grantee user has submitted the QPR, it cannot be edited until a HUD user that can view the grant has either rejected or approved the QPR.

  • A QPR in a status of "Accepted"(Approved) cannot be modified:
Once a QPR has been approved, it is locked for future editing. Data from that QPR will be used to calculate cumulative totals for future QPRs. DRGR users have the option to make changes to cumulative totals in QPRs to address previous data errors (also called “Prior Period Corrections”). Additional information on Prior Period Corrections is found in separate FAQs.

  • QPRs must be submitted in chronological order:
Data in each QPR affect the cumulative totals in future QPRs. Make sure all prior QPRs have been submitted.

Note: with DRGR Release 7.10, DRGR users can receive automatic notifications when QPRs are submitted or approved using the Subscription link in the Utilities menu. See additional FAQs (Action Plan section) for more information on automated notifications.

Users must be designated with the Submit QPR role in order to be able to submit a QPR. Additional information on the Submit QPR role is found in a separate FAQ and also in the DRGR Fact Sheet.

A few rules also apply to HUD review of QPRs:

  • Only QPRs in a status of "Submitted" can be reviewed
QPR review screens and links will only appear for submitted QPRs.

  • QPRs must be approved in chronological order
Data in each QPR affect the cumulative totals in future QPRs. Make sure all prior QPRs have been submitted.
