A

To ensure that recipients stay within the 7.5% administrative cap, IDIS requires HESG administration activities to be funded out of a special HESG administration subfund. This subfund must be set up and funded each year.

  1. Add the subfund using the "Add Subfund" screen, located on the Grant tab. Select the "HESG" program in the dropdown menu, the correct grant year, and select the fund type "AD." Select the "Search" button.
  2. Select the "Add Fund Type" link in the Action column. This will display the "Add Subfund" screen.
  3. On the "Add Subfund" screen, select "AD" under the Fund Type drop-down menu. Type in the administration subfund dollar amount in the "Authorized Amount for this Subfund" field. Click the "Save" button.

Once this step is completed, you will be able to fund your admin activity by selecting the Administration subfund (Fund type = "AD") in the activity funding screen.
