A

The CoC Review includes HUD’s determinations regarding the geographic area claimed by the CoC, whether the Collaborative Applicant is approved as a UFA (where appropriate), and whether the CoC is approved as an HPC (where appropriate). The Collaborative Applicant must then agree with or dispute HUD’s determinations.

  • The “Approved CoC Type Designation” screen identifies whether HUD has determined that the Collaborative Applicant will receive Unified Funding Agency (UFA) designation. The only Collaborative Applicants that are considered for UFA designation are those that completed the UFA screens when they submitted the CoC Registration by the submission deadline.

  • The “Approved CoC Type Designation” screen identifies whether HUD has determined that the Collaborative Applicant will receive HPC designation. The only Collaborative Applicants that are considered for HPC designation are those that completed the HPC screens when they submitted the CoC Program Registration by the submission deadline.

  • The “CoC Geographic Area(s)” screen identifies those geographic codes selected by the Collaborative Applicant that are located within the CoC’s defined geographic area. CoCs are responsible for ensuring homeless services, housing, outreach, etc. are provided to all geographic codes selected.
